Andrew Busch — Financial Services Keynote Speaker

Book Andrew Busch through The Keynote Curators — Financial Services Division

Biography

Andrew Busch served as the first Chief Market Intelligence Officer for the U.S. government, a role created at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to sharpen how policymakers understood markets and the broader economy. His charge was to absorb the full flow of economic news, data, and signal, distill it into clear and usable research, and communicate it to both government and the public. For financial services audiences, this is the rare keynote voice who has briefed the rooms where market-moving decisions are weighed and can translate that perspective for a banking conference, a wealth-management summit, or a CFO retreat.

Andy has delivered economic and market briefings to the White House, the U.S. House and Senate, the SEC, the Federal Reserve Board, and the U.S. Treasury staff, addressing interest rates, inflation, the influence of China on trade, and the effect of technology on the economy. Before his federal service, he was CEO and founder of Bering Productions, Inc., a boutique financial markets and policy research firm, and earlier served as Global Currency and Public Policy Strategist for the Bank of Montreal in Chicago. He is the author of World Event Trading, a book examining how large crises (from disease outbreaks to war) reshape markets and the economy, which gives investment and capital-markets audiences a framework for pricing disruption rather than fearing it.

Today Andy advises and speaks for clients across financial services, energy, real estate, manufacturing, and other sectors, with a particular gift for simplifying complexity and surfacing the money-flow trends that point to where growth is forming. His sessions move from where we have been, to where we are, to where we are going across the economy, public policy, and technology, with a focus on AI, generative AI, and agentic AI. For event planners, the value is a forward-looking, evidence-grounded outlook that lifts attendees out of the daily headlines and into a clearer view of opportunity, delivered with the warmth and wit that draws strong audience ratings.
